Hi LV - great to hear from you too. I came all over nostalgic, and wish we still had a holiday home: as much for sharing them with clients as going there and enjoying getting away from it all ourselves, as, of course, for having a bona fide reason for being here! Hope all is well, and that your seas...

The Creeps!! I didn't realise they'd stooped as low as that! Someone got a raise no doubt when s/he came up with the idea. Wish we could frog-march them out of existence!

Great to see you Kathy.

Hullo team - and hullo Paolo; it was lovely to check in on the Mac this morning and see your post. A cyberhug is coming your way! The generous feedback I've had from you all on this thread has been extremely helpful, and you've given us lots and lots of good stuff to ponder. I feel very angry at the...

Hullo all you LMHers, and hullo too to Paolo, to whom we owe so much, for creating this amazing platform. What a star. I hope you're all thriving, and having a bumper season, with perfect punters in your properties! Sadly, we decided to sell our much loved French holiday home towards the end of 2014...

Morocco

We are hoping to grab a week with friends in Morocco, (we've never been before) and since we're going to be moving around, would love some recommendations for hotels/riads - for those with goat-sized rather than elephant-sized budgets please! We will be in Marrakech, Essaouira and Ouarzazate. Many t...

Mr G's mum has (vascular) dementia, and his dad was really struggling for all it was worth to keep her at home ; even with lots of support (moral and physical) he became ill and the end result was that they are both in a nursing home now. All progressive illnesses are tough on those who look after t...

What sound advice Normandie - but how painful the decision must have been for you. It's lucky that your mother has adequate mobility for the time being, and long may it last.

If they come back to us, we then tie them to a chair, shine a very bright Dunelm mill lamp in their face and drip feed them malt whiskey till they surrender, it usually works with pesky first timers.......... First time guests only have the info they have found on ours or other websites to go...
