My son (a very poor student) wants to send his girlfriend (who is currently living in Copenhagen) a single rose for Valentine's Day.
The cheapest he's been quoted is £29 (eeek)
I regularly send flowers in Switzerland, but I have an arrangement with a florist in Bern who I deal with by email.
Anyone have any suggestions? We've tried googling something actually in copenhagen, but don't seem to be able to find a florist that can help.
Thanks muchly if you can help! _________________ www.thebartonpoughill.co.uk |

Sorry, Annew, can't help, but just wanted to say awww, how sweet! Hubby & I don't "do" Valentine's Day anymore, tut tutting at how it's commercialised etc. But I like to see a little romance in others! _________________ If you always do what you've always done then you'll always get what you've always got.

Get a silk one and send it by post. Include a note saying "Unlike my love for you, this rose is not real; but like my love for you, it will never die."
Spend the money saved on beer. _________________ Our Facebook page

Brought a tear to my eye, Greenbarn.
And then you went and spoiled it

Greenbarn - that's probably a solution that would sit well with my son! He's smitten with the beautiful girl in question - but would probably prefer to spend the money on Beer! And what a quote - I never knew you were such an old romantic!
I shall wait a day longer before passing on your solution - I know I would have preferred to get the real red rose when I was 18! _________________ www.thebartonpoughill.co.uk |
