| What great comments - Kevin and I are hoping to rent one of your places - when we really retire! We stayed in an aparment in San Gimignano and had the same experience of everyday life going on around us on all levels - fantastic! Can't compete with the knickers though.[/url] |

Why, yes, Alan, I was referring to white cotton towels. What else?
Enid, would love to have you and yours. But as the guest's blog says

Reminds me of the Slimming World class, they had loads of slogans one being: "Little pickers wear big knickers". _________________ https://www.facebook.com/lilycottagebelford |

"Knickers" always makes me laugh.
That's what little boys and Scottish golfers wear... woolen pants that come just below the knee with nifty little buckles, right?

Bebk,
Knickers are OK but I draw the line at "bloomers". That's another language only spoken by my grannie and her friends.

Staying on the knicker theme. I love the word Gusset! It is such a Les Dawson word you can say with gusto. The boss won't believe me that some envelopes I order in for thick documents are called "gussets".
Me and a friend had a competition to get the word Gusset printed. It was a tie as we did a joint review of a comedy gig and included "ample gusset" for the owner of knickers that were thrown on the stage with a name and address on (to Sean Hughes). _________________ https://www.facebook.com/lilycottagebelford |
