Anybody give me some quick help? I need an idiots guide to the Panasonic Lumix DMC G3W. Going away in two days and barely know how to use the thing!

This seems to be more like a review rather than a tutorial, but perhaps a useful starting point:

Looks like a nice camera!

I used Youtube for the 'how to fold bathrobes' bit - now mine look very professional for our guests! Does that make me a very sad person??????

Thanks KC. The next challenge is when to find the time to watch it!

I'm up there on the how to front.

A few months ago Mr Annew announced that our deer stalker had a deer for me to butcher (a roe deer I presumed, which is about the size of a large lamb, and more than manageable for me).

Imagine my shock/dismay/surprise/sheer OMG'ness when Mr AnneW arrived home with a rather large Red Deer Buck carcase.

I managed to deal with the beast with my laptop open in the larder with a you tube deer butchery video open and knives at the ready. It did take me 3 hours and I needed a vat full of red wine to recover.

(I can supply photos for the non squeamish!)

Said beast was very yummy - thanks You Tube!
