Nah, they're all dead - killed by a mysterious virus lurking in your defunct TV; I think it's called the X Factor, or something.croatianstonehouse wrote:Well.... I did not receive any texts, phone calls or emails after DAY 1.
I guess SILENCE is golden. We will see. Fingers Crossed..

I'm glad to report that after taking your advice I have rectified the problem myself on my annual vacation trip to the house.
Purchased 20 metres of Sat Cable from Ebay.
I also bought a Portable Satellite Tuning Tool ( First Strike ) to save the cost of paying for a yearly re-tune of the satellite dish. Easily lock on the satellites. Highly recommend if you need to re-tune satellites every year. I have 4 LNBs and found 2 or 3 needed retuning this year.
Then ran the cable down to the bedroom and purchased a new satellite receiver. We now have T.V in the bedroom ready for guest number 6 today.
Damage so far --- A Roof Parasol broken into 3 pieces by some guests who overlooked the high winds.. And a toilet seat broken. I have no idea how..
