Electric heating costs

Post by snoozeboy »

Can anyone give me an idea on my electricity costs for heating my apartment in France, during the ski season.

It's 46m2, built in 1985 so not terribly well insulated and heated by 5 electric convector heaters, 2 of which are 1000W, the others 500W.

Sorry for what is apparently a "how long is a piece of string..." question, but a general idea will do. A weekly or monthly estimate would be great.

Thanks in advance

Mine is about 55m2. When renting, I can get bills of around 400 Euros for 2 months. If staying there myself, the bills are nearly half that. ie. When renting, expect people to go out all day and leave the heaters on!
