Booking.com scam email

Hi,

anyone using booking.com should be aware of this email we received today saying that they are upgrading their payment systems and will not be able to process this month's invoices by direct debit and a manual payment needs to be made to their account.

Account in Poland. Alarm bells ringing!!!! Also the contact telephone number to call credit control is different to the one on the extranet.

Otherwise the email looks really legitimate in good English (always a key to scam emails if English is not up to scratch) and with the name of the property.

I just called BC and they confirmed it is not from them.

Just wanted to let everyone know as one could easily fall for this!!!!!!
