It appears that judges in Pais Vasco have decreed that the crazy system of only allowing costs to apply to the weeks that you rent is not correct.
Currently, as several laymyhatters have bemoaned for some time, the Spanish tax authorities only allow a proportion of the cost of local taxes, electricity, gas etc according to the portion of the year that you have tenants. Now this "sentencia" may be set to change things. So check it out with your gestor. As far as I know it is not yet fully in place but it looks like common sense might be prevailing.
