Hi,
Sorry if there is already a thread with this info - I've read through the WiFi ones and didn't spot the info I was after.
We are going to install Wi-Fi (5 apartments) but want a separate user name and password for each apartment (only one Wi-Fi connection) is this possible?
Thank you |

Yes, thats very possible - its what people who run internet hotspots do.
I havent used this myself, but a quick google on "hotspot management" gave this software. I am sure there are loads of other options out there. _________________ David

Thank you David.
I've had a good google and a read.
Do any of you use 'Hotspot Managements' in the UK. If you do please could you let me know which company you are with and the costs involved.
Thanks in advance |

You probably don't need to use management. Just configure each router with its own username and password. The signal areas will overlap but the customer can only access the signal for which he has the login info.
If any problems arise, try consulting your WIFi provider re router config. _________________ Couple with a property in Kendal, Cumbria, i.e. nearly in the Lake District.
