We serve Christmas Dinner if the Guests want it and all Guests get a present from under the tree.
We have also had a family who requested that their room was decorated with a Tree.
However, we do take note of the reason why Guests are coming away at Christmas. We had a couple who had lost her Mother only a few weeks before and she just couldn´t face all the ´Christmas´ hoohah so came away to get away from all the festiviites. We explained that there would be a Tree up in the lounge but made sure we didn´t have Christmas music playing when they were around and served a normalñ Sunday Lunch rather than a Christmas meal. |

We give the guests a Christmas tree in their apartment, crackers, a bottle of bubbles, Christmas biscuits etc. We take everyone who wants to come (usually everyone) to a local restaurant for a meal late Christmas Eve afternoon as that is the Continental celebration time (they all pay their own bills). We usually have a (free) Christmas party on 25th or 26th for guests with drinks and nibbles. We do charge our top rate at Christmas/New Year as it is our most popular time.
We do hot dogs and gluehwein with fireworks on New Year's Eve. _________________ Margaret
