Here's one on each for starters. If you search, you'll find more. Once you've read a few you might find you have more specific questions that we can help you with.

If you have a hard tiled floor, don't by expensive tableware!

For tableware we are using plain white from IKEA that can be replaced as necessary [we bought a spare set] but for bedding we bought from King of Cotton and opted for 600 count Egyptian cotton. It always feels lovely and crisp & you can tell the quality is good and it is something I like myself when staying in a hotel or s/c. As for colour of bedding - white seems to be the most popular to use and we have added colour by using quilts or runners in the colours of the bedroom

I've just been to Ikea today to replace the breakages from the 365 plain white set. Recommended.

Bedding from local mill shop (so not much use to you sorry!), towels from King of Cotton, and tableware from IKEA 365 range.

You do need to consider the ready availability of replacements for tableware as there is a constant need to replace breakages.

In the US I use Costco for good quality 600 thread count sheets. Just bought some very nice quality duvet covers from overstock.com that I am hoping will wear and wash well. Also very nice quality silverware form overstock, am planning on going to ikea for the plain white dishware so I can restock easily when things break, plus I like the prices!

Another vote for Ikea 365. I have it at home as well.

I use the following company and the range cotton percale. They will make things to order if you need unusual sizes (eg for me fitted sheets for 200cm long signle beds from IKEA)
