We're are going on holiday on Monday. For the first time since we had the girls we are going on a proper big holiday. Hotels all the way, no cooking, no washing no bedmaking.

We are heading to Mexico

For 2 weeks of sun, history, culture and a bit of snorkelling.

We are going to the Yucatan Penisular.

We have planned a tour of the ruins, Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Cobra and Tulum as well as visits to the flamingos, snorkelling in the Carribean, swimming in the underground cenotes, exploring the city of Merida, and seeing monkeys in the Jungle.

We are going to be in Tulum for Mardi Gras so hopefully will get to experience Carnaval as well.

We are travelling independantly, and will no doubt be limited by the attention span of the 5 year old, but we should be able to cram it all in, with the odd day at the beach.
