Hi this is my first post so I may be in the wrong section, if so apologies.

Just had my renewel through from Ownersdirect. They said since September 2011 by law we have to pay 19.6% tax on top of the advert price. Anyone else had this? It`s a hefty lump on top of the normal price as we advertise B&B and a cottage rental.
We`ve been with them for five years and have never paid this tax.
Any advice appreciated

To avoid paying, you have to give them your local VAT number.
