Was Cold Called Today by these Guys.
Here is their email sales pitch. Basically they say they can get NHS bookings for you..However they need you to sign up for their website at £200. Smells like a hoax to me.
Watch out folks.
##
As I explained, we deal with sourcing holiday accommodation for the NHS
Internal Intra net system as well as our own public domain web site. Having
looked at your property it's apparent that our criteria is more than met,
therefore I can have your profile up and running within 72 hours so that you
can start receiving bookings from the NHS staff.
As I mentioned we have discounted our usual rates in an effort to increase
our coverage to meet our current levels of interest. See the bottom of this
page for details.
I'd like to take this opportunity to recap and give you a little information
about us and the services we offer:- Dream Holiday Rental is a professional
web site designed for private owners to advertise their properties directly
not only to the general public but also approximately 2.3 million NHS
employees and 560,000 retired health care professionals. This is due to our
holding a valuable position within the NHS internal "intra net" system to
which we owe our initial success. We have a professional web design
department who continually monitor and develop our site and can assist our
clients in creating and uploading a professional advert. Alternatively we
offer the ability to create, customise and upload your own advert with the
use of our easy to use step by step guide.
We also allow you to include unlimited photographs of your property (the
normal average being around 4-8) along with the option to attach personal
web links, unlike most other sites this comes at no extra premium. Once your
advertisement has been processed and is showing on our site, all enquiries
and bookings go directly to you. We do not handle holiday reservations
directly and take no further payments or commissions after your initial
subscription fee.

Well known on here, but well done for not getting dragged in. It shows we need to keep these things highlighted every now and again. Here's a link to a previous thread, or type dream holiday rentals or NHS or Force travel (a similar scheme) into the search here for hours of reading matter!

Dream Holiday Rental
I have been sucked in by Dream Holiday Rental when they contacted me back in March 2012, they said they had doctors and specialists who will be attending meetings and seminars in London and they were in the process of looking for accommodation for them and my property met their criteria!!!
I did sign up also my other properties overseas and received no enquiries whatsoever so tried contacting them on more than several occasions to no avail. After pestering them I had a reply and they confirmed in late Sep that there had been a small mistake and my properties had not gone live but they have now. 6 MONTHS LATER Whats the use now the season in Spain is over so I am going to report them to the Office of Fair Trading.
DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE I did mention that I had been scammed by the FORCES WEBSITE and they said that, that website had been a scam, what do they call theirselves then???

Caring is Sharing
I was called by this outfit today. They are going to send me an e-mail with all the details and call back on Friday. The offer was £99 per year and £149 for two years.
All the spiel posted here. I was not entirely happy it was genuine but thought I'd have a look at their website so put them in to Google. Under 'Dream Holidays Review' the link to here came up.
Very useful to know. Thank you.
The reason I was a little suspicious was that her voice (very annoying nasal tones) sounded remarkably like a woman that called on Monday from 'Facebook' working with Owners Direct and the advert cost was 30 days for £99. The lady today claimed to be working for Dream Holidays working with Owners Direct.
I've no intention of touching either of them - scam or not.
Any suggestions (polite but mischevious) for when/if she 'phones on Friday?

A P.S. to my post above.
I went on to the website - curious. I was surprised to see it existed and looked very genuine with all the things I'd expect to see. I selected France and Aquitaine in the search boxes. The list of 'towns' came up and made me smile: "Dordogne" (that's a whole Departement) and, amongst others, Anlhiac which I happen to know is a village with no shops and about four houses. Odd listing!
The properties shown looked very nice and very real and the addresses I am familiar with looked very plausible - how do they do this? Am I going to find my advert copied off Owners Direct and put on their site or are the properties listed unfortunates who have been 'had'?
