| Sister is off out to Algarve next week to view property, but as yet can't find any reasonably priced accommodation. Any websites, agents etc you can think of (Alvor area). |

Helen,
There are really hundreds of property rental companies who list villas and apartments. Private rentals are less easy to find - I know, I'm a seller. If you Google for Algarve Villas or Algarve Apartments, you'll see what I mean
For private rentals, try the usual Holiday-Rentals.Com, VRBO, and OwnersDirect, but also take a peak at
http://www.talkalgarve.com
http://www.carvoeiro.com
Enjoy. Its a lovely area around Alvor, but property prices are going silly. |

| Bad new, sister lost the apartment in Montes d'Alvor 30 mins before signing the promissary contract to a private buyer who approached the builder direct. Agen unhappy as he lost his fee, sis unhappy as she lost her apartment. |

Congrats to sis!
She might be interested in joining AFPOP (afpop.com), the Association of Foreign Property Owners in Portugal. They just did a big cover article on Portugal's new -- or not so new, depending on who you talk to -- vacation rental laws.
Hope to meet her here soon,
