Been asked for a brochure - what should I send?

Using press and magazine advertising, brochures, mailings - old hat or still cost-effective?

I was asked for a brochure, a couple of weeks ago. The person left a phone message but no number, so I could not call them back.

They did leave their address so, in the absence of a brochure, which I haven't used for about eight years, I just outlined pricing for the month they enquiries about and availability.

To date, I haven't heard back, so I am left wondering whether they would have booked had I been able to send a brochure. However, based on the fact this is a real one off, I certainly won't be going down the brochure route as it would not be worthwhile.
"It's a funny old world...." but full of the most amazing people. :-) Sense of humour essential!
