I think it is even worse than the UK at least in the UK we can find a list of the prices/deals on offer from any one energy provider. When I checked out my provider in Italy - Vulcangas- absolutely zero on their site. I bet the sales folks get a great bonus based on price and retention - hence why my rep was keen to reduce the price so quickly to keep our small residential biz. Just makes my blood boil!
