See that I get check ins to my page but no idea what this means - does anyone out there know?

Guests putting an FB post saying they are at your place. I don't use them personally, but it means their friends can see where they are.

Actually we have found them useful for spreading the word so to speak. We get quite a few likes from the check ins and so it does give you exposure.

It's like anything I suppose....it all adds to the menu of advertising on social media.
