Sean is sexy

Post scam emails to warn other rental owners, or if you are not sure if an enquiry is genuine, put it up here and see what others think.

If I knew him I might agree...

"Message from Curt Mcclendon

Hello, nice property you got there. I will make a deposit today if the property is available. My dates are flexible! I would appreciate if you can forward all the info to my girlfriend on his email address below:

seanissexy22 @ outlook.com

God bless you"

And OD's message when I click 'report as spam':

Make sure this enquiry isn't from a real traveller

This enquiry will be permanently removed from your dashboard.

If you are unsure if this is a real enquiry, respond to avoid losing this traveller's contact information. If enquiries from real travellers get marked as SPAM, the option to mark enquiries as SPAM may be removed.

OD don't trust beleaguered owners to recognise the whiff of BS when they smell it? Realistically though OD etc. will know by the wording that all the reported approaches are spam because they always adopt one of a small number of bog standard, utterly scamtastic formats.

You're so sceptical... nowadays anyone can have a girlfriend called Sean, or refer to their boyfriend as their girlfriend... move with the times!
