OD Free Cancellation for renters?

Post by cleanforum »

Checking my listing today I noticed;

Free Cancellation until 08/05/2018

Announced at the top. I must have been asleep for a while because I don t think I ever noticed that before.

What is the meaning and is it an option one can choose??

I have commission listings.

Still puzzling over this.

The "Free Cancellation" offered to guest(as show on the listing toaday) up until 08/05/2018

Is that the 8th of May 2018 in old money?

I just took a three week booking for next August with OD I hope they can not just walk away a few days before their rental.. :?

You should have an option to choose your cancellation policy in your listing? On VRBO none of them fit my criteria so I just put "no refund" and explain in the text that this is not strictly true (although I am Mrs Very Strict!).

Yes there is an option. I have it set for sixty days before rental. Thats why I find the date stated for free cancellation on the rental puzzling.

Have you tried calling OD for clarification, you can then express your distress/disgust with them playing fast and loose with your money!
