lushsandwich, I fear you are in the same boat as many of us here in italy. Don't worry, something will come along - it'll just take time to get going especialy in this financial climate.
Last year I was almost fully booked, this year have only 7 bookings
I have upped my presence on both paid & free sites this year, in the hope of drawing more interest. However, have to say that to date I've never had a booking from a free site and only one or two enquiries. At the end of the day, as any multi-national will tell you, it pays to publicize what you are selling.
