After sending an email I got a statement back from them.
It showed me what I had received and whathad been refunded.
As I had 2 recent bookings then I did receive a small amount being the difference ...

I think that if you have received a payment and then agreed a cancellation, then they are not taking it out of your bank but holding it against any future payments due to you from new bookings.

No this particular flat is in England. I do have a flat in Glasgow but it is not leasehold of course.

I have now found from a google search a ruling from the upper tribunal ...

We have a leasehold flat and have been using air b n b for short term lets.

Somehow the management co for the leaseholder has discovered this and written to me to tell me to stop as I am in breach ...

I have now made two offers to the company re a refund. firstly 50% so 850. When that was refused I upped it to 1k.

That was returned with 17 pictures of what he thought was unsatisfacto ...
