A friend of mine who lives in Lanzarote has recently aquired a second home which he intends to use soley as a holiday rental.
His main client base will be UK based and they will make direct payments into his UK account.
Question is - How does he establish a payment recieved is made by a particular client and therefore confirm their booking?
Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Pete
The majority of my clients are UK based and make payments into my UK bank account. I ask them to give a reference (i.e their name!) when they make a payment so that it shows on my statement. Sometimes they forget, however I can always work out who the payment is from by checking with the bank the branch into which it was paid! I´ve become a very good detective over the past few years!
