Having asked for a review, I find my website has been down for many, many hours today. Can any of you point me in the right direction to transfer my website to a more reliable host?
Your help will be very much appreciated.

I have read your previous thread and have tried at various times of the day today without any success in accessing your site.
I use http://www.hosts.co.uk/index.html for my websites and have never had a problem.

I use Pipex on recommendation and have never had a problem with the site being down. They also do have genuine 24 hour support which is helpful if a little pompous at times. They are also very reasonably priced (around £5.50 per month).

We use globalnet for our webhosting and have had very few problems. We live in a rural area and I know others who do experience problems with intermittent internet access so we count ourselves as lucky.

Hi
These people allow searches on web hosts : http://www.findmyhosting.com
Users vote on their experience, the results are published as an overall index and by individual question.
One of the factors is downtime.

I use http://www.names.co.uk/index.php?source=34634 and have been very pleased the basic hosting package is £4.99 and you get a lot of extras. The support is very good too and you can view your ticket and progress online.

Yes, these two seem to be the same http://www.names.co.uk/index.php?source=34634 and http://www.hosts.co.uk/index.htmlHanorah wrote:Just noticed that they are also giving a free domain name plus double space this month plus a google adwords voucher worth £25. Seems pretty good for those without a website but thinking of setting one up.
I am currently using the google adwords voucher that I recieved which seems to be working well at the moment, I was unsure as to whether it was worth trying but with the free £25 voucher there's nothing to lose!
namesco/hostsco are very good support wise and the control panel is very easy to navigate with plenty of step by step help plus extra freebies such as forms, counters, database, visitor stats etc
