Joking apart, there is a stretch of the M6 between J38 and J39 where an unclassified road runs up between the N and S carriageways, and meets a section of the B6261, still between the carriageways. Is this the only place in the UK where you can legally drive up the central reservation of a motorway?
There's a farmhouse in the middle of the M62.

Helen, I remember that farm house on the M62. Not quiet as pretty as over here though. As the OH says your most welcome to call in for coffe on your way past.
And as for Out of Eden they also have a table for charity for which you have to pay cash!!! Some good bargains to be had on this table, it's worth stopping as your passing just to check whats on offer on the charity table. I got half a dozen excellent spare pillows for next to nothing recently.
Anne.
