Keysafe in London

Post by bentisdall »

Apologies if this has been asked before. However we are thinking of doing holiday lets in a flat in London and are thinking of using a keysafe. Are these secure enough for a big city and is it best to locate them out of view?

Have a look at the discussion starting half way down this thead: viewtopic.php?t=11583&highlight=&sid=b0 ... 82d4810497

I have a keybox, but we are in rural France, not sure if I'd have one in London - but if I did, I would certainly make sure it was tucked away from view! :D

I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be with a keysafe in a big city.

I wouldn't use one here, I don't think. I'd maybe go for some kind of electronic/combination solution...

we use them; we are located in London. We simply mounted them inside a front opening mailbox. So from the outside it looks like a simple mailbox. Only our guest know that they need to open it and inside are mounted 2 keysafes. They have the combination to open which ever one they need. We haven't had a problem yet in 2 years.
