Again - thanks for the really useful info.

I'm a seasoned eBayer (powerseller with feedback over 2000) and therefore used to the vagaries of the system, but I haven't used it yet for le Cheval Blanc.

I will get my head around it after Christmas. I really appreciate your input.

I forgot to add - I love Turkey. I haven't been there since I was pregnant with my first (he's now about to be 9!), but I regularly stayed in Olu Deniz at that time. I loved it there - it was commercial-ish (we stayed at Tatil Koyu right on the beach near the road to the White Dolphin - I think that was the Turkish name) but still had a really good backpacker-ish vibe.

I wonder what it is like there now.. :?

I also visited Ephesus (more your area?) as a child as part of a school cruise - it impressed me enormously at the age of 11. My soon to be 9yr old would love all the history there. Maybe we'll come stay at your property sometime. Is there a good pide restaurant nearby?!

Hanorah,

I am really impressed with what you are doing on ebay. And the presentation of information there is much better than I remember it - they must have made some big improvements.

I like the way you keep the reader reading down a long page of information with lines like this:

"3 different families have rebooked for next year the moment they arrived home. Don't You Want to Find out Why!!"

Other owners can learn some handy lessons from your nous for marketing. Your own website is also full of useful information one rarely sees. And a photo competition for past guests, which is something I have never seen!

Yes there are great Pide salons nearby If you ever want to go you will be more than welcome and from what guests have told me who have been to Olu Deniz before, Dikili and the surrounding areas win hands down.

Re the photo competition I wish I could claim this as my own idea but one of my guests for next year is a web marketing guru and suggested I add this to my site. The idea was that people firstly love competitions and secondly people viewing the site can see the photos have been taken by guests themselves so must give a true representation of the area.

Can I also say I am so glad I found this site, it is so informative I had not considered advertising in a foreign language so will definetly be working on that now.

I wish I had found it last year when I was just setting up and did not have a clue. What a fantastic idea.

I agree - the photo competition is an excellent idea! There's some lovely shots there.

Your website is great and the villa looks excellent. I must admit I am getting lots of ideas for holidays looking at forum members sites! We've had 2 great holiday's in Turkey, first one in Altinkum then another sailing around on a gulet - I'd love to return.

I think the times I used ebay I made the rate too cheap probably giving the wrong impression. You've come up with a great formula for the listing!

Ooh good! I love Pide. I should point out that my trips to Olu Deniz were made eons ago when the Belcekiz was new on the scene and I know it will have changed a lot since then.

I will definitely add your property to my list of favourites for next time we can afford a trip further afield than France :) .
