US Bookings?

Post by MarieSatz »

[/b] I was wondering how bookings are specific to the USA? Where are people doing well and where have the inquiries gotten less?

My rental is in Hawaii, so I'm particularly interested in Hawaii, but I would also like to do a comparison with other parts of the country.

I'm in Colorado and last year was our best in 8 yrs. Though it was also the first year we took over management ourselves. Hard to tell yet this year but it's looking pretty good.

For 2009, bookings were very good....much to my surprise with the economy being what it has been. I did offer some "specials" early on thinking that it would be a difficult year.....but as it turned out there was no change. For 2010, I'm already mostly booked until May, 2011.

My place is in Florida and we are doing quite well for this year, especially from U.K. renters. I got a lot of enquiries and bookings last Autumn (Fall) - I think the failure of the U.K. 'BBQ Summer' to arrive made people yearn for some guaranteed sun.
