The ".cc" is just an alternative to .com, .co.uk, etc...

Its free to register, and because its not so well used, there is a much bigger choice for the name.

I went for "holidaysun", which is gone on .com, .co.uk etc, and it was free. Yes... I agree, the ".cc" is perhaps not quite so memorable, but i'm hoping that the "holidaysun" is.

I've seen on this forum that there is at least 1 more person with .cc

If you're interested... just type co.cc in your web browser.

Thanks for all of the feedback on the website

Regards,
Brian

Can't open your website using IE8 or Firefox on Vista.
Some guests just need a sympathetic pat. On the head. With a hammer.

I cant get into your site either, from a PC running Vista using both IE8 or Firefox.

This is the error I get:

No joy for me either. Windows XP on IE8, Firefox or Safari. Same error message as dbar posted. Very frustrating!

I'm a bit concerned about the fact that a lot of people can't see the site. Its quite an important thing...

So... I've bought a .com web domain now. instead of the .cc

But... How do i configure it so that it directs to my website??? Any advice is welcome.

Are your site and the .com name at the same hosting company? If so you should be able to do a redirect.
If they are not at the same company then you have to change the nameservers at the company holding the .com address and then notify your hosting company that you have done this giving them the .com address in question. This is more or less what I did in the same situation but your hosting company will give you more precise instructions if you ask them.

it loaded ok for me using FF and IE on a windows machine.
Is the dotcom direction this one?
http://holidaysun.weebly.com/index.html
I was looking at the coding and found a strange link in your headers for dotCC. Thus I found this.
For the coding. Photos; there are no alternative descriptions for any photo.
There is no site map which helps Google sift through your website.
I cannot get the web based analysis for your HTML or CCS to load. Maybe Weebly is blocking it. I wonder if using Weebly you are missing out on something else too?

I missed the dancing banner, but maybe try making the golfer swing?

BTW something like play-murcia-golf dotcom has not been taken. Maybe a change in domain name?
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.
