I just received a booking request for one night in low season and the enquirer said that the Euro 200 deposit was too high and asked if the deposit could be eliminated as they were 4 adults and no children.
From my experience i have rented to adults only who have made more mess than with families that had children and therefore not sure i would want to eliminate or reduce the deposit.
How would you handle this enquiry??
How to handly enquirier that believes deposit is too high

I'm assuming it's a reservation deposit and not a security deposit. But like Helen I would query if it's worth it for one night.
