Sites that work well

Everything to do with using your own website to advertise your rental property. Design, usability, hosting, getting listed on the search engines, optimising your site, pay-per-click, etc, etc.

Sites that work well

Post by Martha »

Hello everyone :)

There's been lots of very useful information in the site reviews and this section too - it's really helpful.

What about examples of sites that people think are really good. Who's setting the standard in this area? Do you have one that you particularly like? I'm starting to put together ideas for my own site and it would be great to see what others have done successfully.

So far I found these ones that I like - I've been looking more at chalet sites... what do you think?

(my goodness, these are expensive!)

(I like the lovely big pictures, but I don't think all-flash sites are really suited to holiday lettings)

These are really travel promotion sites but I think they're very well done and maybe worth taking some lessons from?

(because I though the maps were very sweet)

Hi firebug, can't you tell the ski seasons over, just sorting out my own site for the Summer. I have some advertising on www.homelidays.com which has been very successful, and also chaletsdirect.com which has given me a few enquiries, but onyl 1 booking. My own site was done with a template from 1and1.co.uk
