Car Door Magnets
Car Door Magnets
I just got a couple of these done and stuck them on the car this afternoon.
I parked it a the local supermarket and waited five minutes for my wife to nip in and pick up some stuff. A very nice lady asked me if I'd mind her photographing it so she could have a record of the web address for when she got home.
I didn't try to explain about the QR code to her.
So - looks like it may have been £15 well spent.
The great thing is I can just peel them off anytime I don't want to be Mr Lodges.

I like this idea too (and the car - Mr Lodges obviously does too well ....)
How could I use it - should it be in French or English (or both) - who are you trying to attract, assuming that you live in the area? Is it people who are already on holiday, who don't like where they're staying, but who like the area???
Answers on a postcard, please ...

LOL
Mr Lodges currently has two jobs which help fund a 4 year old car
I'll leave the magnets on round home but they will probably be more useful driving round where the lodges are.
You could have one of each - one for each door Caroline.
When I said I wanted to be a property magnate I think somebody misheard.

It's just a French, bumped and scratched car jealously kind of thingWindy wrote:LOL

Is that one for the guys that are driving on the left and one for those who drive on the right? Sounds a little dangerous to meWindy wrote:You could have one of each - one for each door Caroline.

well you can't see my rear right bumper can you.
Mind you anyone who tries to keep a unscathed car in a town populated mainly by octogenarians who think a parking sensor is what happens when the tilt alarm goes off on the car you just hit is asking for trouble.

Just a quick follow up.
Leaving magnets on the door for any length of tie resulted in fogging of the metallic paint under the magnets.
As you can imagine I wasn't over the moon to think I needed to respray the doors or have odd rectangular patches on them.
However, exposure to heat and sunlight slowly returned things to normal.
I have stopped using the magnets on the car doors now though
Maybe T-shirts are the way forward?
