Landlord Insurance

Post by Big Sis.. »

We usually have Letsure insurance for our UK properties, but our most recent one was with LLoyds TSB.

When the renewal came it had gone up about £50 so I rang and she took it £50 off again....... I said I still wasnt that satisfied and would ring round for quotes, she quickly said ''well do you want us to quote you with a different company?'' which I agreed to, and the quote ended up being £150 cheaper than the original renewal, and £100 cheaper than last year.

It really does pay you to ring and question your renewal quote..... :)

When we first started renting out it was quite difficult to get reaonable insurance cover, but at the moment the world and his wife seem to offer it, so of course premiums are likely to come down.
