We have alot of people from abroad and usually staying for at least 2 weeks. I put it down to our location and that we are a period cottage. The Americans in particular seem to like that.
I wish I was on the golf course

We usually get a good mix of overseas visitors - this year as follows:

Spain 3
Netherlands 3 - one later cancelled
Germany 2
Australia 2
New Zealand 2
Italy 1
USA 1
Switzerland 1

In 3 years, one booking - from France, and they were meeting up with family who lived in Liverpool!

I have no idea why I don't get enquiries from abroad - probably because I only advertise on HL and don't have my own website. We are in such a great spot, but maybe a little off the beaten track (or Waterwitch is pinching them all!)
