We have a 4 year old medium sized pool tiled with 25mm square mosaic type tiles. The grout is breaking up and exposing the white matting that the tiles are bonded onto as part of the manufacturing process
We suspect that either the grout when applied was of poor quality or more likely that the pool has been overdosed with chlorine by our pool guy.
We think that 4 years is far too short a life for the grout and not sure that we fancy re grouting it ourselves or to use a specialist
Does anyone have any experience and views on this
Thanks in anticipation

4 years of letting and still learning
Yep. Our pool is nine years old and has ben regrouted once already and now we are told it needs redoing.
Both times we have been told the original grouting was rubbish.
It seems to be a playground for charlatans, so I would get a recommendation from someone you trust before going to contract.
Bonne chance

Jumping is just dressage with speed-bumps.
Well, I know some damn' good horse-trainers around the Downs if you need one!
But I would ask around your friends and neighbours locally, winter is coming on - the ideal time to have the work done and maybe with the flight of expats, work could be scarce - you could be in a strong position.
It's never easy finding reliable workmen in a different location, but you have plenty of time and local reputation is the key.
