We've made a few changes in the layout of the site, however, the homepage doesn't seem to align correctly on Tansy's mac (though she admit's some of the software is a little old Wink )

Could anyone let me know how things look on their pc / mac browser combination?

note: remember to 'refresh' the page a couple of times to ensure you get the latest version, also, if you change the css to 'large text' or 'Hivis' ... things will go a little haywire as those stylesheets havn't been updated as yet.

Thanks Smile

It's OK in IE6, Netscape 8 and Firefox but there is a large chunk of red "nothing" down the right hand side. That's on a PC.

Looks good in IE6 on a PC, as already noted.

Sounds a little strange ...... any chance of a 'screen shot'?

Thanks in advance

Alas, I neither have nor have access to a mac, so I can't really help...

...but it looks great using Firefox in Linux! Smile

Tony,

Sorry, I was referring to your site not Tansy's. Your's has a broad band of the background running down the right hand side.

No chance of a screen shot unless you want to tell me how.

Tansy's site aligns fine with IE, Netscape and Firefox on a PC.

Regards

Alan

You mean the thing between the page content and the ads? I figured that was supposed to be there (on Tony's site).

The red line between the page content and the ads is on the very right habd side when dispalyed on 800x600 resolution. But on 1024x768 you can see the advertisement as well.

I know you haven't asked for a website review but it is a bit straining on my eyes whilst the background loads. Also, personally i find that although there is lots and lots of information on the homepage, i would struggle to find out where to start. Not meant to be critical but just my opinion!

Oh Alan ..... now look what you've done! Wink

This thread is about Tansy's site at http://www.normandybeachrental.com , because of this I didn't really feel that I'd have to post the link. However, once again i'm proven wrong.

Please comment only on the Tansy site.

Anyway, back to the initial problem ... i've spoken with a few people on mac's using safari browser and a couple of others and all seems well. Very strange.

The link to Tansy's site is there for all to use, thanks to Paolo.

Tansy's home page aligns just fine with IE, Netscape and Firefox on my PC.

I know a couple of people here who have Mac laptops... though they're all using them at the moment. But if the situation becomes dire, let me know, and I will bribe them away from their desks for a few minutes. Wink

I'm using Mozilla Firefox on a pc. It loads quickly and the front page is fine. However, on 'further details' for each property, the text crosses the photo.
