Returning to HA, I also list on H-R, but haven't had an email, nor does our property feature in HA in my region - although the property of an acquaintance is listed there. Similar spec to ours, so a competitor. I originally pointed him in the direction of H-R too!
Could it have something to do with my personal habits? No, just remembered, MG's chalet is listed.

Dear Gascony Goat,
You reminded me to have another look. 100 properties now listed in Morbihan, I wish I were one of them. I really feel as if I am missing out, & all those potential bookings I have lost!
Still, serves me right, as I did have the audacity to moan to HR about a few things.
Robert.
(The system always beats you in the end.)

Is that silversurfers.net ? Seems to be a bit of a linkfarm to Interhome....do they take ads?

Another one to look at is http://www.seniorsnetwork.co.uk/
Back on topic, we've had one enquiry from HA, although no official notification from HR about this! The other problem with this is the time differential; we've sent an email answer to the enquiry, but we always prefer to speak to the prospect personally - and she's in California, so no luck so far!!

If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!!

Dear GG,
Our listing has now appeared, thanks to, I think, an email I sent to HR.
Their prompt reply was. 'I can see it, please click the link below'
Yeah right, whatever! It wasn't there an hour earlier though.
So all is not lost GG.
Just out of interest, my stats tell me that my site has had a visit from HR shortly after I posted the 2 above comments on LMH. Interesting.

News flash, Robert - our property is now throbbing happily on Homeaway!Gascony Goat wrote: I haven't always been in favour with them either, although David, their sales manager, and I have reached an amicable understanding - I think! So Dave, how about it!
Thanks H-R; links to personal websites next maybe?

Dear GG,
I have now decided to officially join the animal set - So it is now Sheepie, formerly known as Robert.
Glad to see that you are now listed on HA - Well done & Braaaaavo.
Ironically, I got my first ever rental request from H-R, from two ladies in the USA, for the week prior to Xmas. So who needs HA anyway.
Alas, they didn't fancy lighting woodburners & regretably my manservant was on holiday that week. So no go, but at least I was able to have a joke with them!
Sheepie.
