As it's Christmas, here's the biggest issue facing us all - who likes Mince Pies?

I need an option of "I like them, mince pies with really short pastry and good quality filling are excellent... but once a year is enough".

Merry Christmas, folks. 8)

Retires unsteadily with a bottle of Sloe Gin and several mince pies with Calvados cream...

Prefer the puff pastry ones but any will do in an emergency!! Love the Mary Berry ones with marzipan on top instead of pastry. Yum.

A very Merry Christmas to all and a VERY prosperous New Year. X.

Also many thanks to Paolo for all his efforts on our behalf.

Oh what a hypocrite - I'm taking 5 minutes out too! But I lasted until 16.02!

Had some lovely ones with cranberry in and no pastry top from Sainsburys. Not too filling and with yummy home made brandy butter. :)

I like them but can't eat a whole one. My mum sent my some mini mince pies from Sainsbury's and they are delicious, the right size and very tasty.
The rest of Christmas fare both in the UK and France I can do without very easily.
