UK holiday cottage domain names for sale

Just had a call from someone claiming that a domain name reseller has gone bust leaving lots of domain names relevant to the UK holiday market up for grabs eg "holidaycottageyourtown.co.uk". They claim to have these domains and were offering me a package for a lifetime registration and search engine optimisation for the domain to be redirected to my existing domain for £150.

I said no thanks and then checked the domains and they are currently unregistered which meant I could register a couple of the ones that were relevant to me through my ususal host for a few £s. When it comes through I'll set up web forwarding to point it at my usual domain. Not sure what they would provide that would be worth £150.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know that there might be some relevant domains floating around and you don't need to pay a fortune for them. Even if you haven't got a web site sorted yet you can still register the domain and set up the web site later.

Hmm - just wondering if this is also relevant to the 'Starting Out' thread?
