another scam

Just recieved this email from another scammer:

Dear Sir/madam,
I am Pastor Don Carlos Santana of Latter Day Church Inc London.We are organising a woman convention.Please we want to know if there is accomodation in your hotel for 10 persons from December 10th-December 31th 2006.

Kindly State for these availabilities:
1)5 Double or 10 single rooms.
2)A conference hall to be used 3 times if you have.

Get back to us with the overall calculated grand total of the reservation if there will be availability.I awaits your response.

Wonder how many of us have one of these? DO we confer?? I haven't even got an actual hallway in my place ,let alone a whole hall for conferences

It makes me laugh how they almost all call themselves 'doctor' or 'pastor' or something like that.

I had one from a 'Canadian financier' who wanted to give me lots of money on behalf of an Arab Prince. This wasn't for an apartment, it was because I am such a lovely and influential person.

I am now very rich indeed, but am waiting for Special Branch to appear any minute.

Seriously at the time I wondered if I should have contacted the police, but our FD said she got them all the time and it wasn't worth it. Just take the money.

They're a good laugh, though. I can't think that anybody is really taken in by them. It could be an episode of 'Spooks'
