leather sofas..... to be or not to be?

Agencies and other headaches, keys and cleaners, running costs and contracts...in short, all the things we spend so much of our time doing behind the scenes.<br>

leather sofas..... to be or not to be?

Post by Bella »

Just starting out and looking at how to furnish the gites.
What have people gone for, material or leather sofas?
I suppose my main concerns with leather are the marks from suntan oil etc or am i wrong?

I know we've discussed this on the forum before, possibly in several places.

viewtopic.php?t=691 has some discussion (mostly on the second page).

I think the results are mixed, but I know others will speak up...

We don't have a pool so I can't respond to suntan oil questions.

But we do have leather couches in our of our rentals. I *love* them. At each turnover, we wipe them quickly with "leather wipes" from Carrefour. Three years later they still look fabulous.
