Icons and Toolbar - don't want to marry up!

Post by pambon »

Another problem (for me!) for you great folks to help me with

Windows 7: I can't fix the gmail and skype icons together with my Epson icon onto my toolbar. It accepts all the Windows ones, naturally! I am running google chrome BTW.

Thanks for your help.

Think it must be windows 7 as the Microsoft icons go on it fine but Have tried dragging with no success with non Microsoft icons as per above.

Is it the same toolbar that your start button is in?

Yes the windows toolbar for win7 would have the round button at one end and probably the time at the other end. Is it this one?

There is too much to explain all the features available in the windows toolbar. You basically have pinned shortcuts and groups of shortcuts. You can additional groups as you wish. Icons can be displayed as big or small, with and without text.

I would start by placing the required shortcut on your desktop. Then try dragging that to the toolbar. There is no distinction between MS and non MS programs.
