How many breakfasts?

Post by French Cricket »

I've just worked out that at some point during the last month, I must have served my 12,000th guest breakfast  .

I feel quite tired and I need to sit down.

Coooo, French Cricket, well done! Now work out how many croissants, pains de chocolat, brioches, cups of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, etc etc etc!
On second thoughts, don't, it'll only make you reach for the gin

Take a weeks unpaid leave at once.

Can't compete with those figures. But in 13 years of lets I think I've cleaned the kitchens over 1000 times. A lot of oven cleaner and elbow grease. But I'd rather do that than cook!

But do you realise that you've done almost as many posts as FC's done breakfasts; no wonder you don't cook, no 8l00d7 time left!

Ah, but I've been here a long time  And I don't have a life (except for running the gites and running literaly), and posting is quicker than cooking).I don't cook as well as the restaurant up the road who now offers Traditional French Food in their resto as well as take aways....much cheaper and better quality than I could hope to produce myself :D

Waaaaaaaa

This is actually my last year of doing breakfast - next year we'll be totally self-catering for the first time ever. I started in 1986 so my 30 year anniversary seems like a good time to - um - retire

Will there be a full-on, bells and whistles ceremony for the last breakfast?
