Got this enquiry yesterday via Owners Direct and feel its a scam. I have responded but thought I would post on here in case anyone else gets similar enquiries:
Hello there,
Can you tell me the cost of your lovely house for 2 weeks?
Are there any local activities for teenage children?
How far away are restaurants and shops?
Best Regards,
Diane
Why do I think its a scam?
Use of the word 'house; in the first line.
Very generic wording, could refer to any property anywhere.
Although a telephone number was provided it was 1 0872xxxxxx. If the one is a country code (US) then the 0 would be removed.
If it turns out to be genuine I will return here and provide my sincere apologies to Ms Ashmore.

That wording sounds familiar to me.
Especially the '.. activities for teenage children...' Too ambiguous, I'd probably reply 'we've got wifi....'

On that basis I'll ignore all my enquiries which say "is it available and what is the price"Dusty wrote: Why do I think its a scam?.......Very generic wording, could refer to any property anywhere.
Some guests just need a sympathetic pat. On the head. With a hammer.
