We recently received a large envelope from BC in Amsterdam. Actually very large but very, very flat.
I put my hand inside to feel for at least a sheet of paper..went down to the bottom - maybe it just contained a tiny business card from one of their outside sales reps?
No, nothing, the envelope was completely empty.
Looking at the flap, the seal still had the plastic strip across the gum. Oh dear, it looks like an intern had posted it without sealing it first
I suppose that's what you call a completely empty proposal from BC

Did you not receive a waft of hot air when you opened the envelope?AngloDutch wrote:We recently received a large envelope from BC in Amsterdam. Actually very large but very, very flat.

I remember when I worked as a supervisor at a now defunct tour operator (Evenements Reizen) where everything was done manually. They had a group of school leavers from a temping agency that had to fold all the travel documentation, stick it all in a pouch and/or envelope, address sticker it and then weigh it and attach the postage sticker. This is how it was done in the late 90's, so hopefully you're right, casasantoestevo, and they are all fully automated now - some jobs should only be done by robots!

I enjoy bitching about booking engines. Therefore I'll do it.
Some people enjoy my posts, some people think I'm a moaning tosser. However, given the thread title, I'm surprised anyone who finds posts moaning about booking sites objectionable even opened it.
This is the Internet. You will sometimes see stuff that you don't like.

When you don't like something on the television you either change channel or switch off; same applies on the Internet..search for another site/forum/thread....or go for a walk!kyreniagirl wrote:edinburgh wrote:Oh for **** sake.
