Immediately after posting (and while I was reporting the problem to TheHolidayLet) I received an email from Liz. They have rapidly investigated and fixed the issue.
Brilliant service!

The holiday let
Thy have now said the ICAL is up and running. Site looks good and we've paid so its now live. They have said they are looking at targeted advertising now, fingers crossed for some enquiries.Also advised owners to check the calendar after a change to either "booked" or "available". No "unknown" now.
