Looking for somewhere

Post by pepsipuss »

Hopefully someone can help our family find somewhere for summer holidays. Daughter is trying to avoid the Homeaway/Trip Advisor lot so would appreciate if someone can point us towards good French sites which are independent.

Even better, has anyone got something themselves or that they can recommend in the Nimes/Arles/Avignon triangle, preferably 17 to 31 August. Couple and three children. Preferably three bedrooms but two with a sofa bed in sitting room would do.
For true domestic harmony it is essential that dogs know their place, which is below all cats

Come and join us the FB page Book Your Holiday Direct with the Owner and see if you can find something there.

It may be a bit far away from where you're wanting, but a good friend runs a place in the shadow of Mont Ventoux. It's relatively basic, but an absolutely stunning location, in a valley with a river you can swim in passing through the grounds. The area is lovely, with lots to do, and Avignon is only about an hour away. My friend's daughter, Marjolaine took over the running of the Bergerie this year.
