freetobook payments

Post by petitbois »

those using freetobook, does the guest pay them the 1 night deposit or do you receive the guest credit card details as with bdotcom. Any pros & cons of using the system..

As I understand it you set up an account with Stripe or fabpay, which then integrates with freetobook. When a guest books, they pay the deposit using by credit card to your Stripe account. The money is then disbursed to your designated bank account from Stripe on a weekly basis.

I use FTB with WorldPay/FabPay/SagePay add-on - the guests payment goes through to my bank account on a daily batch basis.

I can also send a guest an email containing a payment link; the guest then follows the link and makes the payment.

These batches also include any payments I manual process, such as those from BC.
