Rubber Mat for WC

Post by apexblue »

Do you have any idea where I can buy a rubber mat to go around the loo please?

Why do you want a rubber one? It's not going to look very nice and isn't absorbent which rather defeats the point of having it.

Are you sure you want mats round the toilets? For me, and I'm fairly sure I'm not alone, any mat around the toilet is a bit icky. I'd much rather see a clean floor than a mat that may or may not be clean.

It's for home to hide missing wood around the loo.

I do use M&S finest cotton looped mats with the loo and provide matching bathmats but I wash them after each visit. I think they look nice. A rubber mat is likely to go smelly even though you wipe it.

To fill a large gap. Have you thought about using PVA wood glue? Then add a layer of sawdust to the top before drying to blend the repair into the wooden floor.
