Calendar review

Post by sallyandalan »

Hi,

I've decided to write my own calendar for our website, just to display availability from another calendar. Partly for fun and to practice php. I'm using an open source library for the import from ical.

If you have time, please take a look at:(edit: now gone live, so it's at:)
http://www.cockleroy.co.uk/booking.php
and let me know if it looks OK to you, or if you have some comments.

Thanks in advance,
Alan

Looks good to me, I prefer when calendars show the 1/2 day for changeovers, so many of the listing sites don't do that now.

Yep looks good, I agree with kyreniagirl and would also use the word 'Booked' rather than 'Unavailable'.

Good work and good to see someone else doing things from first principals. After several years work on refining my php/mysql I arrived at this example http://www.hillhousellanrhidian.co.uk/h ... ge-gower1/

Thanks dwtmill, that calendar looks good. The tariff table looks clear too, and I see it works well on mobile too.
